The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) has launched more housing projects under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) program in Mindanao over the weekend.
DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, together with other key housing officials, spent the weekend in Zamboanga City and Surigao del Norte for the groundbreaking of two 4PH projects and to inspect other ongoing projects.
“The order of dear President Bongbong Marcos Jr. is to focus on the implementation of 4PH for our poor countrymen who continue to dream of having their own home,” he said.
“Here in Mindanao, the township developments we have planned are beautiful,” he added.
On Saturday, the housing officials inspected a proposed 4PH project site for Dreams Residences, then proceeded to sign the Memorandum of Agreement for the ongoing Vinta Residencia in Barangay Salaan, both in Zamboanga City.
Zamboanga City Rep. Mannix Dalipe and Mayor John Dalipe warmly the DHSUD team composed of Undersecretaries Garry d Guzman and Avelino Tolentino III, Assistant Secretary Melissa Aradanas, National Housing Authority general manager Joeben Tai, DHSUD Region Office 9 director Roland Eta and other officials.
The officials launched the Sikat High Park Residencia in Barangay Layuhan being implemented by the NHA.
In Zamboanga City, DHSUD is eyeing about 25,000 housing units under 4PH.
