MALOLOS CITY – Barring any delay, Guiguinto, Bulacan will have its biggest and most modern private hospital by the first quarter of 2025.
The Luzon Alliance Medical Center, Inc. (LAMCI) gave this assurance during the ‘topping off ceremony for the project held over the weekend at the rooftop of the hospital building located some 500 meters from the Tabang Exit of the North Luzon Expressway.
Topping off refers to the phase when the final steel beam (topmost) is done and the structural frame of the building is completed.
The LAMCI’s opening timetable is almost simultaneous with the projected initial test runs of the elevated Northrail Commuter System from Caloocan City to the capital City of Malolos that will only take 30-minutes.
“The construction of LAMCI hospital in Guiguinto, considered as the center of Bulacan’s industrial and commercial hub, was deemed a “timely and a wise move,” Rep. Ambrosio Cruz of the 5th District of Bulacan said.
Cruz lauded the founders of LAMCI, notably its president Dr. Oscar Evangelista, owner of the biggest hospital in Mindoro Oriental; chairman Dr. Roberto De Leon and Dra. Maria Socorro Caldevida for investing in Bulacan.
Evangelista also owns the most successful hospital in Puerto Galera who clienteles are mostly international tourists and local celebrities vacationing in the island paradise.
Ospital ng Guiguinto administrator Dr. Paul Ruel Camiña, who is slated to become LAMCI’s medical director, said the completion of the 10-storey facility with two-underground parking spaces is all on-scheduled target date.
The advent of a cutting-edge medical center at the heart of Bulacan’s booming industrial hub will greatly complement the medical and emergency needs of residents in the neighboring metropolis of Malolos, Calumpit, Hagonoy, Paombong, Bulakan, Balagtas, Plaridel, Bocaue, Pandi, Norzagaray, Marilao and Sta. Maria due to the ease of travel along NLEX.
The strategic location of LAMCI, according to Dr. Camiña, makes it ideally responsive especially to emergency cases that may occur in the future along the Northrail Commuter trains. The NSCR-Balagtas Station is barely 10 minutes away and will play a crucial role in life-saving operations.
With its theme “Health Care beyond expectation”, the medical center has lined up an enviable facilities that include: Comprehensive Cancer center; Kidney and Transplant Institute; Dialysis center; Edndoscopy unit; Minimal Invasive Surgery; Neurololgy and Stroke center; Intensive Care Unit; Neonatal and Pediatric ICU; Orthopaedic and Trauma center;
