DOH hospitals in Quezon team up to establish public health care network

The Department of Health (DOH),  through the leadership of its Officer-in-Charge Maria Rosario Singh-Vergeire and the Provincial Government of Quezon headed by Governor Angelina Helen Tan,  on Monday   led the ceremonial signing of Joint Memorandum of Agreement between 15 DOH Health Facilities and Hospitals and the provincial government of Quezon to pave the way for the establishment of a Health Care Provider Network (HCPN)

Along with the Province of Quezon, the following hospitals signed the agreement:

Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center; Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital; Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center; National Children’s Hospital; Philippine Orthopedic Center; Quirino Memorial Medical Center; Rizal Medical Center; San Lazaro Hospital; Tondo Medical Center; Lung Center of the Philippines; National Kidney and Transplant Institute; Philippine Children’s Medical Center; Philippine Heart Center; East Avenue Medical Center, and Batangas Medical Center. “Ang kasunduan nating ito ay isang hakbang tungo sa mas malawak na pagsasakatuparan natin ng Universal Health Care Act — through this partnership of improved health referral with the Province of Quezon and select DOH Hospitals, we are creating healthier outcomes and settings para sa kalusugan ng ating mga kababayan,” Vergeire said.
