Presidential frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Monday said that at least 10 more governors from different provinces in the country have expressed their full support to the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas standard-bearer during a meeting Sunday night at the BBM national headquarters in Mandaluyong City.

Marcos stressed that apart from concerns and priority programs in their respective provinces, the informal but intimate meeting with the local chief executives, that coincided with the second

Commission on Elections (Comelec) presidential debate, also tackled vote protection for the upcoming May 9 elections.

“Vote protection, that’s what we talked about so that we can make sure that the election goes well. Count all the votes and there will be no problems,” Marcos said.

The governors were led by Quirino Gov. Dakila Cua, president of the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP).
