Maynilad Water Services said its customers will continue experiencing water service interruptions, the company’s spokesperson said.

Maynilad spokesperson Jennifer Rufo said this is due to “fast consumption and high turbidity level of Maynilad’s water supply.”

Rufo also said affected areas include Caloocan in the north to Cavite in the south, from  10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The executive said Maynilad will continue trying to implement the water interruptions during off-peak hours. Rufo said this will allow Maynilad to fill up its reservoirs for the peak demand in the following day.

Rufo further said in the southern areas, including Muntinlupa, the water supply from Laguna Lake is also limited due to the spikes of turbidity.
