Two LPAs monitored inside PAR

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Friday spotted two low-pressure areas inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

The LPA at 620 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes, however, left the PAR.

But another LPA over the vicinity of Rosales, Pangasinan was still at the PAR.

The LPA would enhance the southwest monsoon to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Ilocos, Cordillera Autonomous Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon.

It will rain in Palawan, Mindoro and Western Visayas due to the southwest monsoon, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience only localized thunderstorms and isolated rains.
