The Philippine National Police on Tuesday unveiled a fool-proof system that would prevent the conduct of fraudulent recruitment process arising from influence-peddling among police applicants.
The new recruitment system include Robust Nuero Psychiatric Medical and Dental System which will be applied for new police applicants at the National Capital Region Training Center in Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan in Taguig City.
PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde led the ceremonial kickoff of the fool-proof system, a device designed to screen police recruits free from “human intervention” of influence peddlers.
He said RONMEDDS would be the initial phase of the screening process for police recruits to ensure that only individuals with good moral character and the right mindset shall be admitted into the police service by making the recruitment process free from human intervention.
“The rigid screening process aims to make sure that no PNP officials, politicians, and other individuals will exert influence to facilitate entry of applicants with obvious character flaws,” Albayalde said.
