Last May, the MMDA also enforced a traffic rerouting scheme in Manila due to closure of Roxas Boulevard in connection with the INC´s Walk to Fight Poverty event.

The charity walk utilized parts of Diosdado Macapagal Avenue, Gil Puyat Avenue, Taft һAvenue and Road 10.

Members of the Inter-Agency Council for Traffic under the supervision of Transportation Undersecretary Thomas Orbos provided assistance to people who joined the walkathon.

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board also gave special trips to passenger buses to ferry participants of the event.
