“I would like to express the great honor and pride not only of Filipinos in Canada but also in the Philippines and all over the world for having Justice Ho as the first Philippine-born Canadian to hold a high judicial position,” Asuque said.

Ho took her oath of office and allegiance to Her Majesty The Queen in a swearing-in ceremony in May 2018 before Associate Chief Justice John Rooke and the other justices at the Calgary Courts Center.
