MUSIKGARTEN Manila, a top choice for music training in Metro Manila, will hold its summer recital on May 13 at 2 p.m. at the Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino (Little Theater) of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

The school, owned and managed by Nikki Junia, a music scholar and honor graduate of the Conservatory of Music of the University of Santo Tomas, will showcase talents from its regular summer classes in music.

MGM recital departs from the traditional recital presentations, moving to staging production numbers not unlike in regular concerts, Junia said in a statement.

According to Junia, the recital is a statement of the student’s progress in the summer program as MGM’s mission is to develop the student’s potential and capacity to his personal best.

“We look at music as a tool in the development of the whole person, his talent, discipline, and confidence,” Junia added.
