The Ombudsman has filed charges of graft and usurpation of authority against Former President Noynoy Aquino.
The cases were submitted to the Sandiganbayan on Wednesday.
The complaints are in connection with the bungled Mamasapano operations that resulted in the death of 44 members of the Philippine National Police – Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) and some civilians.
The Ombudsman wants Aquino held responsible for supposedly allowing then PNP Chief Alan Purisima to meddle in the operations in Maguindanao even if the PNP chief was already suspended.
The recommended bail for the two charges amounts to P 40,000.

The anti-graft court's raffle on these cases will be conducted on Friday.
