Russian navy ships have docked at the Manila South Harbor in Manila on Friday.
The fleet is here for a goodwill visit beginning today until Thursday next week.
The ships are destroyers Admiral Vinogradov and Admiral Panteleyev.
A Russian tanker Boris Butoma also arrived.
Their presence coincides the attendance of Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu to the 4th Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) Defense Ministers' Meeting.

Russia is also delivering to the Philippines some special military equipment.
President Rodrigo Duterte previously said Russia would donate about 5,000 assault rifles to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
