Former Senator Jinggoy Estrada has been reunited with his family.
This comes after he was released on Saturday afternoon from the Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Camp Crame.
His temporary freedom while a facing plunder case was made possible after the Sandiganbayan allowed him to post bail.
His counsel paid bail worth P 1.3 million on Saturday morning.
"I am a free man already but I will religiously attend the hearings of my plunder case," he said upon his release.
Estrada was fetched by his wife Precy and children.
The former lawmaker heard a mass at Pinaglabanan Church in San Juan City after he was freed.
In his remark, he said he had forgiven the persons who persecuted him and charged him in court.
This evening, he is set to go home to his residence in Quezon City.
