Well-known talent manager and columnist Alfie Lorenzo has passed away.
He died at 2:40 am on Tuesday.
He was 78 years old.
His younger brother Dan Lorenzo confirmed the report.
He also thanked everyone who loved his older brother.
Dan said Alfie died peacefully in his sleep.
He had a heart ailment.
Alfie's assistant was taking care of him when he drew his last breath.
Doctors have yet to officially state the cause of death of the talent manager.
Alfie and his assistant were in a resort casino in Pasay City since Friday last week.
The talent manager would regularly go there to entertain himself.
As of Tuesday noon, Alfie's remains are in Arlington.
His family members are arriving from Pampanga.
Actress Judy Ann Santos was among the celebrities whose career was managed by Alfie.
Judy Ann is helping with the funeral arrangements.
In 2010, Alfie suffered a mild heart attack.
At that time, he underwent an emergency angioplasty.
