Boni Serrano Avenue closed to motorists due to bomb scare

Boni Serrano Avenue along Camp Crame in Cubao, Quezon City has been closed to motorists on a busy Monday morning.

This is because of the presence of a package which onlookers suspect may be a bomb.

The object was discovered near Gate 2 of Camp Crame.

A bomb squad has arrived to check the package.

The site has also been cordoned off from pedestrians.

This incident affecting a major thoroughfare is expected to aggravate the traffic congestion in the area.
