De Venecia has been named Special Envoy for 'Inter-Cultural Dialogue.'

His term is until December this year.

In a statement, the Deparment of Foreign Affairs said, De Venecia's role is "to advise government on inter-cultural dialogue issues to make recommendations to the government on how to advance PH interests as regards this issue."
