Employees of the Tourism Promotion Board (TPB) has filed complaints against their Chief Operating Officer (COO), actor Cesar Montano.

Montano allegedly committed conflict of interest when he approved entertainment contracts worth millions of pesos.

In its complaint, TPB employees alleged that these deals included concerts wherein Montano was among the performers.

They claimed, among these events was a concert in partnership with Carat Philippines on February 25, 2017 in Luneta.

The price tag for the concert was reportedly P 16.5 million.

Montano had also supposedly approved a Jadine US and UAE Concert Tour 2017 worth P 12 million.

The complaint stated, “COO Montano always enters into a contract with Carat Philippines as TPB’s partner in holding concerts/events wherein Montano is one of the performers and not representing the Board as Chief Operating Officer.”

The complaint was submitted to the Presidential Action Center.

Montano has yet to answer the allegations.
