The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) reports that power has been restored in Batangas and Quezon.
It is now focusing on repairing the power lines in Naga, Albay, Legazpi and Sorsogon.
The NGCP says, “we are doing a lot of strategies in Albay. Once we energize Albay, we can also energize Sorsogon.”
Energy Undersecretary Wimpy Fuentebella says, they want to return the supply of electricity in Virac, Catanduanes within today (Wednesday) and to the entire province in two-weeks’ time.
He adds, their target is to light up all commercial areas in provinces affected by typhoon “Nina” before the New Year.
