PAGASA has spotted a Low Pressure Area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

The LPA’s current location is about 1,000 kilometers east of Mindanao.

The weather system is inside an Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

The LPA is expected to bring rains across Mindanao, Bicol, Palawan, Mindoro and Romblon.

PAGASA Weather Forecaster Bennison Estareja says, the LPA may strengthen within 48 hours.
