The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) is investigating the incident wherein a Philippine Air Force (PAF) Fokker 27 plane busted its tires upon landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
The probe is being ordered by MIAA General Manager Ed Monreal.
The plane was carrying Presidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella and PAF officials on Wednesday night.
They came from Cebu City and the aircraft was on its way to the PAF’s hangar when the incident took place.
The control tower gave the plane clearance to land at runway 06-24 but it swerved at Rapid 1 exit way after its tires exploded.

No one was hurt in the incident.
