CPP/NPA leader Benito Tiamzon and his wife Wilma are attending a hearing for their cases of multiple murder and frustrated murder at the Manila Regional Trial Court.
Pending before the sala of Judge Thelma Medina is the request for the couple to be allowed to attend the peace negotiations between government and the CPP/NPA/NDF.
The peace talks will be held in Oslo, Norway this month.
Benito and Wilma Tiamzon will serve as NDF consultants in the negotiations.
At the hearing on Wednesday morning, the prosecution presented the skulls and bone fragments exhumed from a Leyte mass grave in 2006.
