The Sandiganbayan has issued to its Sheriff’s Office the release order for Former President Gloria Arroyo.
This comes after the anti-graft court received at past 3 pm from Supreme Court’s process server the copy of the promulgation that junked the plunder case against Arroyo.
The document received by the Sandiganbayan includes the dissenting opinions of justices who participated in the case deliberations.
The Sandiganbayan addressed the release order to the PNP Security Protection Group at the PNP Headquarters in Quezon City.
The sheriff of the anti-graft court is now on the way to Camp Crame.
PNP will be the one to enforce the release of the former president from Veterans Memorial Medical Center.
Arroyo is expected to be able to go home before Thursday ends or two days after the Supreme Court's decision came out.
