Reviving Sta. Cruz seminar set April
A leading design and architecture company will host a 10-day workshop that aims to explore urban regeneration in a “brownfield” environment.
Using Manila’s Sta. Cruz district as a focal point of development, WTA Design and Architecture Studio will encourage the participants to collaborate and discuss and to participate in lectures, case studies, film-viewings and presentations on design and urban design issues.
The workshop will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on April 26 to May 17 at the second floor of Metro Square Building along Ortigas Avenue in San Juan City. It will require the participants to come up with proposals centered on the theme “Revive Sta. Cruz.”
The winner will be offered openings at WTA, an architecture and design organization that specializes in large-scale malls, condominiums, hotels and master planned developments.
The company was founded in 2007 by William Ti, Jr., a University of Santo Tomas alumnus who earned in 2012 a master’s degree in Urban Design from the National University of Singapore.
