Reelectionist Christopher “Bong” Go received a significant boost in the March pre-election survey conducted by Stratbase Consultancy, tying with Erwin Tulfo, who had consistently led in previous months, according to Social Weather Stations (SWS).

The survey, conducted from March 15 to 20—shortly after former President Rodrigo Duterte’s arrest warrant was issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC)—showed Go and Tulfo leading the Senate race with 42% of voter preference each.

Both candidates top the list of 12 possible winners in the 2025 senatorial elections.

Meanwhile, the administration-backed ‘Alyansa Para Sa Bagong Pilipinas’ dominated the majority of the 12 spots. Ben Tulfo and Tito Sotto tied for 3rd-4th place with 34% each, followed by Lito Lapid in 5th place with 33%.

Bong Revilla secured 6th place with 32%. Pia Cayetano and Ping Lacson tied for 7th-8th place with 31% each, while Bato Dela Rosa ranked 9th with 30%. Willie Revillame placed 10th with 28%.

Meanwhile, Abby Binay, Manny Pacquiao, and Camille Villar shared the 11th-13th spots with 27% each. The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters nationwide.

The sampling error margins are ±2.31% for national results, ±3.27% for Balance Luzon, and ±5.66% for Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

Respondents were asked: “If the elections were held today, whom would you most probably vote for as SENATOR OF THE PHILIPPINES? Inside this envelope is your ballot for voting for Senator. You may vote for up to twelve (12) candidates. Please shade or darken the oval beside the name of the persons you would most probably vote for.”
