Former Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Brigadier Gen. Jean Fajardo has been removed as chief of the Directorate for Comptrollership (DC) and transferred to the Area Police Command – Eastern Mindanao. This is the latest reshuffle in the ranks of the PNP.
Police Major General Westrimundo Obinque, a classmate of PNP Acting Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. in the PMA Class of 1992, replaces Fajardo in the DC.

Meanwhile, Obinque’s former post as chief of the National Police Training Institute (NPTI) has been assigned to Police Major Gen. Christopher Birung.
