The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced it is extending widespread suspension orders for classes in all education for both public and private schools, as well as work in government offices up to Friday, July 25, amid the ongoing inclement weather.
As of 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, the suspension orders cover the following areas due to floods and other hazards associated with the southwest monsoon rains enhanced by Typhoon Emong and Tropical Storm Dante even as the latter exited the Philippine area of responsibility:

The DILG noted, however, that some government offices have implemented hybrid system to ensure that public services continue.
