Bangsamoro Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua released a memorandum seeking the courtesy resignations of all ministers, deputy ministers, and heads of offices and agencies in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao by June 30, 2025.
Macacua signed the memo dated June 23, 2025, citing “serious and grave complaints” brought to his attention. He said all concerned officials who would refuse or fail to comply with his order “shall be deemed resigned.”

“To ensure continuity of government services, all concerned shall continue to report for work and perform only their routinary functions not involving discretion until any action on the courtesy resignations are taken,” Macacua noted.
