PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III has asked subordinates to provide feedbacks regarding their current uniforms.
During the traditional Monday morning flag-raising ceremony at Camp Crame, Quezon City, Torre said it is important for him to know if the new uniform setup is effective and comfortable for the men and women of the police service.
He also tasked the PNP Directorate for Research and Development Management (DRDM) to lead the survey to muster the opinions of the police officers.
Meanwhile, the PNP chief said that although everyone was previously encouraged to always carry a pen, they were not allowed to put one in the uniform’s ballpoint pen slots.
Torre has since suggested making it part of the “personal touch” on one’s uniform, similar to wearing a simple watch as long as it is “minimalist and functional.”
