Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Nicolas Torre III wants cops in the national headquarters and field units to provide their “feedback” regarding their current uniform, the General Office Attire-C (GOA-C).
During a flag-raising ceremony held on Monday at Camp Crame, Torre said it is important to know if the new uniform setup is effective and comfortable for PNP personnel in their daily work.
He also tasked the PNP Directorate for Research and Development Management (DRDM) to lead the survey to determine the opinions of police officers.
Meanwhile, the police chief said that although everyone was previously encouraged to always carry a pen, they were not allowed to put one in the GOA-C’s ballpoint pen slots.
Torre has since suggested making it part of the “personal touch” on one’s uniform, similar to wearing a simple watch as long as it is minimalist and functional.
