The Philippines’ Krishan Pauline Alerre was crowned Miss Aura International 2025 during the finals held in Antalya, Turkey early Saturday.
Alerre’s win is the fourth international title won this year by the country after Dia Mate in Reina Hispanoamericana 2025, Alexie Brooks in Miss Eco International 2025, and Francine Gabrielle Tajanlangit in Miss Elite Global 2025.
Alerre’s runners-up were Miss Romania (first), Miss Czech Republic (second), Miss Thailand (third), and Miss Kyrgyzstan (fourth).
In the Top 12 intelligence round, Alerre was asked the question: “How do we teach critical thinking in a world full of online noise?”
“We can teach critical thinking to everybody in a world full of noise. I believe we cannot please everybody, especially online, where there are a lot of criticisms and opinions,” she said.
“While we cannot control those opinions and criticism, we can control how we respond to them. We respond with kindness and understanding, and we can use our critical thinking by empowering them to do the same thing, and everything will be set in order,” she added.
Alerre, a native of Pampanga and a graduate with a degree in Physical Education from the City College of Angeles, is the second Filipina to win the title after Alexandra Faith Garcia in 2021.
She previously reigned as Miss Pearl of the Orient Philippines 2024 and was appointed Miss Aura Philippines 2025.
