Precy Vitug-Ejercito, the wife of Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, on Friday took to social media to post her negative review of a hotel chain’s Boracay location.
“Is this for REAL?!? A huge, smelly cockroach in my bathtub!!! And the smell of the cockroach lingering throughout the entire bathroom!!!” Precy posted.
“This is just too much. I came here to relax, not to be stressed for two days straight! You’ve ruined my vacation,” she added while mentioning Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay.
The “cockroach scent” llikewise lingered in her room’s water closet, which was allegedly working fine the day prior.
“Then, a staff member came to fix the toilet, but they accidentally caused it to break, and now it’s constantly flushing and cannot be used! Such a frustrating and careless mistake—it’s a hassle not being able to use the bathroom because of their incompetence!” Precy wrote.
“Furthermore, my privacy has been completely compromised with so many staff members entering and exiting my VILLA repeatedly!!!!! This is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for guests’ privacy and comfort,” she added.
According to the senator’s wife, the hotel’s housekeeping was “not up to standard” and its cleanliness was “very disappointing.”
“These persistent problems have completely ruined the experience! I am extremely MAD and very disappointed with the level of service. This is absolutely unacceptable!!!!!!” Precy concluded with three thumbs-down emojis.
Meanwhile, Mövenpick has yet to respond publicly to the said post.
