Top Manila City mayoral candidates cast their respective votes early Monday for the 2025 midterm elections.
Incumbent Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna voted at around 9:00 in the morning at Legarda Elementary School in Sampaloc, Manila. She was joined by her husband Dr. Arnold Pangan.
One of her challengers, Tutok to Win party-list representative Sam Verzosa, also cast his vote in the same school at around 10:00 a.m. Verzosa was joined by his partner Rhian Ramos.
Both Lacuna and Verzosa came from Sampaloc district, the former being a former councilor and majority floor leader.
Meanwhile, former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso, who seeks to reclaim the capital’s top local government post, cast his ballot at Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School in Tondo, Manila.
Domagoso wished his opponents ‘good luck’ as election wraps up today. The seasoned actor-politician has been the leading candidate in most surveys for the mayoralty post.
