THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is monitoring two low-pressure areas that have been causing rainy weather in some parts of the country.
An LPA was monitored 190 kilometers east northeast of Borongan City, Eastern Samar on Tuesday at 3 p.m., it said.
The other LPA was spotted 415 kilometers west of Abucay, Bataan.
The weather bureau said the first LPA has triggered cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in the Visayas and Caraga in northern Mindanao.
On the other hand, the easterlies are also bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Caraga and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
