The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and the Presidential Broadcast Service-Bureau of Broadcast Services (PBS-BBS) have launched a new weekly radio program, DHSUD Kapihan sa Radyo, after formalizing their partnership through a memorandum of agreement.
This six-month collaboration aims to boost public awareness of housing and urban development programs, particularly the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) initiative under the Marcos administration.
Following the agreement, the pilot episode aired live on Radyo Pilipinas 1 (738 kHz Manila), broadcasting from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The launch event took place at the PBS-BBS headquarters and featured key officials from both agencies. The program is hosted by DHSUD’s communications officials and is designed to spotlight major housing initiatives.
DHSUD views the partnership as a strategic move to broaden public access to vital information and strengthen engagement with stakeholders across the country.
