The Taguig City government and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) officially transferred key land assets through a ceremonial signing of the Deed of Conveyance at the Taguig Satellite Office, SM Aura Office Tower.

The signed agreement covers 1.7 hectares of prime land in Fort Bonifacio, with BCDA transferring all its rights, titles, interests, and possession of the properties to Taguig City. This milestone paves the way for further sustainable urban development.

Mayor Lani Cayetano and BCDA President and Chief Executive Officer engineer Joshua Bingcang led the signing ceremony, joined by BCDA Vice President Richard Brian Cepe and Taguig Business Permits and Licensing Office Head lawyer Ma. Theresa Veloso.

Bingcang emphasized BCDA’s strong and ongoing partnership with the local government of Taguig, highlighting the importance of future collaborations to ensure the aligned and strategic development of Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

“After this signing, we will continue to coordinate and partner with your office to ensure that the ongoing development of BGC aligns with our goals and objectives,” Bingcang said.

Meanwhile, Cayetano said the local government will work to ensure the agreement benefits all stakeholders.

“This aligns with our Transformative, Lively, and Caring (TLC) agenda, which focuses on responsible governance, innovative programs, and sustainable urban planning. By prioritizing infrastructure development, social services, and economic opportunities, we ensure that every Taguigeño is part of our city’s progress,” Cayetano said.
