CAVITE City—A new two-storey building of the Philippine Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) was formally opened here at Brgy. 30 Bid-bid in Sitio Caridad.
Mayor Denver Chua and Vice Mayor Raleigh Rusit presided at the opening ceremony, with PCG’s Commodore Christopher Meniado as guest of honor.
In his address, Meniado thanked the city government for providing the new facility for the CGSS. He also underscored the PCG’s critical role in ensuring maritime safety, enforcing maritime laws, responding to sea disasters, and protecting the country’s marine resources.
Meniado said the ceremony not only celebrated the completion of the new CGSS building, but also highlighted the importance of collaboration and collective efforts among various government agencies.
