The FPAO also experienced a transition in leadership, with Lt. Cdr. Randy Garbo succeeding Lt. Giovanni Badidles, marking Garbo’s second term in this position.

Capt. Lued Lincuna, the Chief of Fleet Staff (CFS) and acting Deputy Commander, presided over the ceremony alongside Capt. Wigerto Warren Lopez, the Assistant CFS for Personnel. The event was attended by officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resources from the Fleet.

Capt. Lincuna congratulated both the incoming and outgoing directors of each office while highlighting their significant contributions to the Philippine Fleet.

He reiterated the importance of adhering to policies, emphasizing, “Follow the policy, and you will never go wrong.”

The Fleet stated that this leadership transition signifies a renewed commitment to excellence, as the FSSO, FLEADC, and FPAO continue to play vital roles in supporting and advising the Philippine Fleet Commander on matters within their purview.

“With the new leadership in place, these offices are poised to further enhance their services, foster leadership development, and improve public affairs communication to ensure that the Fleet remains well-equipped to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving maritime environment,” said the Fleet.
