This annual meeting, which alternates between the two nations, serves as a high-level platform aimed at strengthening military-to-military relations based on the Joint Understanding between the AFP and the TNI.

Its purpose is to provide a framework for ongoing collaboration, enhancing bilateral military activities across key domains.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed and finalized several bilateral initiatives under three sub-committees: Joint Intelligence, Joint Operations and Exercises, and Joint Education and Training.

Additionally, a proposal to establish a Joint Logistics Sub-Committee was discussed, marking a significant expansion of cooperation between the two armed forces.

Both sides affirmed that through shared experiences and joint learning, the AFP and TNI have cultivated stronger, more adaptive, and resilient military ties.
