Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac said another batch of 45 OFWs with five dependents will be flying home today (Saturday).

Both groups are part of the 334 Filipinos from Lebanon expected to return home this November, Cacdac said.

“We continue our sheltering, repatriation, and monitoring of the situation on the ground,” he said.

Each repatriated OFW will receive financial assistance of P150,000.

They would also undergo medical and psychological checkups through the Department of Health.

Likewise, they would be provided with free livelihood training vouchers from the Technical Education And Skills Development Authority and job placement assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment.
