The citation, conferred by the Malaysian monarch on Oct. 30, in Kuala Lumpur, recognizes extraordinary bravery, leadership, and service in law enforcement.

Reserved for individuals who demonstrated exceptional commitment to national security, the award is granted to distinguished members of the Royal Malaysia Police and select foreign officials involved in collaborative efforts to counter transnational crimes such as terrorism, human trafficking, and organized crime.

Marbil was commended for his effective leadership at the PNP, particularly his contributions to crime prevention and cross-border security initiatives, which have bolstered cooperation between the Philippines and Malaysia.

His dedication to enhancing public safety, community engagement, and fostering trust in law enforcement exemplifies the spirit of the Panglima Gagah Pasukan Polis award.

His accomplishments also underscored the PNP's commitment to integrity, modernization, and international collaboration, which enhance regional stability and security.
