Eastern Visayas has 685,000 distressed residents and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao reported 500,000 individuals reeling from the effects of the recent storm.

The NDRRMC also noted a total of P994-million worth of damage to public infrastructure and P1.4-billion in agriculture.

News wire service Agence France Presse (AFP) has reported that the death toll from the severe tropical storm rose to 110, but the NDRRMC has not yet validated this figure in its official situational report.
