Cebu Pacific urges Undas travelers to be early in the airport

To avoid heavy road traffic during the upcoming All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day peak travel season, Cebu Pacific (CEB) urged air travelers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before domestic flights and four hours before international flights.

“Be on time, as heavy road traffic is expected during peak travel season. Passengers should be at the airport at least three hours before departure for domestic flights and four hours for international flights,” the CEB management stated.

Passengers traveling to Dubai can check in as early as seven hours before departure. Check-in counters close 45 minutes before domestic flights and one hour before international flights to allow enough time for pre-flight procedures.

Travelers were also urged to check the airport terminal assignment of their flight, especially the flight number and terminal assignment.

Flight numbers beginning with 5J are operated by Cebu Pacific using larger commercial jet aircraft, while flight numbers beginning with DG are operated by its sister airline Cebgo using smaller turboprop aircraft.

Until November 6, 2024, DG flights will continue to operate to and from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4, but starting November 7, all DG flights to and from Manila will relocate to NAIA Terminal 2.

CEB recommends online check-in to avoid long airport lines, available from 48 hours to one hour before domestic flights and up to four hours before international flights. Completing eTravel Forms is also advised for a smooth immigration experience, with roundtrip international flights requiring two eTravel forms for departure and arrival flights.

The baggage policy allows passengers to bring one carry-on bag and one personal item under the seat in front, not exceeding 7kg in weight.

As the Undas holiday break travel season approaches, CEB reaffirms its commitment to ensuring passenger comfort and safety.

CEB currently operates flights to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
