Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go inspected the Super Health Center under construction in Barangay Mambabanga during the celebration of the Bato Art Festival and the 75th Anniversary of Luna, Isabela’s founding on September 28, 2024.
The Super Health Centers are part of Senator Bong Go’s initiatives as Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Health.
He emphasized his commitment to establishing eighteen Super Health Centers (SHC) in Isabela Province, aiming to expand access to government health services for more individuals.
One SHC has already been completed in Mallig, Isabela, with another in Echague, bringing healthcare closer to residents in rural areas.
Alongside Vice Governor Faustino G. Dy III, Luna Mayor Adrian Leandro Tio, Vice Mayor Lelamen Soingco, and Mallig Mayor Jose Philip Calderon, he also distributed gift packets to barangay health workers.
After visiting Luna and Alicia, where he personally assisted several displaced laborers, he proceeded to the Isabela Convention Center (ICON) in Cauayan City where he oversaw the delivery of aid to residents of Cauayan City, Reina Mercedes, and Naguillian.
This relief activity was conducted at the Isabela Convention Center in partnership with local and provincial government units, led by Vice Governor Faustino G. Dy III, Representative Inno Dy of the 6th District, and Cauayan City Mayor Caesar Dy Jr.
