Caridad Teshiba Tulfo —the mother of Tulfo siblings Ramon Jr., Tuchi, Wanda, Ben, Bong, Joseph, Raffy, Erwin, and Edel — has passed away due to natural causes at the age of 97.
“We, the children of Caridad Teshiba Tulfo, with heavy hearts wish to inform everyone that our beloved mother has joined our Creator,” her family said in a joint statement.
“Mommy Caring,” as she is fondly called, is survived by her children, daughters and sons in law, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Her body will be laid in state at the Sanctuarium at the corner of Araneta and Quezon Avenue in Quezon City starting on Wednesday, August 28 at 6 p.m.
The late matriarch will be laid to rest at Taguig’s Heritage Memorial Park on Sunday, September 1 at 11 a.m.
