Lacson warns PNP against announcing developments in Quiboloy search

Former Senator Panfilo Lacson questioned the tactical choice of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to provide updates on the evolving situation at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound in Davao via social media.

“It is beyond my comprehension why the PNP keeps announcing to the public the progress of their search for Quiboloy,” Lacson said as a formal law enforcer.

“Human or signal intelligence, and even the technical capability of their equipment, should be kept to themselves,” he added.

Meanwhile, Davao City Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte on Monday said that PNP forces led by General Rommel Francisco Marbil and Police Brigadier General Nicolas Deloso Torre II are no longer abiding by the proper procedure in implementing the warrant.

“This situation has already caused inconvenience to motorists, businesses, and the public. The public seeks clarification from the PNP, how long do you intend to stay at the KOJC property?” he posed.

According to the latest report from PNP’s Police Regional Office (PRO) 11, KOJC members resumed aggressive action versus police forces deployed in the area by throwing rocks and dirty water.
