Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), attended a significant bilateral meeting between the Philippines and Germany held today in Makati City.
The meeting was graced by the presence of German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and Secretary of National Defense Gilberto Teodoro, marking a pivotal moment in the defense cooperation between the two nations.
“AFP Chief General Romeo Brawner Jr’s participation in the high-level meeting signifies the AFP’s dedication to advancing external defense capabilities through international relationships.” AFP Public Affairs Office Chief Colonel Xerxes Trinidad said.
The discussions focused on enhancing defense cooperation, mutual security interests, and strategies to promote peace and stability.
This year also commemorates the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Germany.
