BIR Bataan Admin and HR Officer Gemo Espinosa said the extension of estate tax amnesty is until  June this year. Originally the deadline was June 2021.

The BIR official said if the amnesty is availed, there is no need to pay the surcharge and penalty due to delay in estate tax payment.

He said the amnesty covered the estate of the deceased who died on or before December 31, 2017.

The BIR Bataan kicked  off its tax collection  campaign in the province on Friday.
