The Taguig City government has announced the reopening of its satellite office at the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) to make its services more accessible, hassle-free, and convenient.

Beginning Monday (Nov. 14), the Taguig Satellite Office situated at the 9th floor, SM Aura Tower (cor. 26th St., McKinley Parkway, Fort Bonifacio) will again be home to six local and two national offices.

Documents and permits may be secured from the City Assessor’s Office, Business Permits and Licensing Office, Local Building Office, City Planning and Development Office, and City Treasurer’s Office.

Senior citizen identification cards may be secured from the Office of the Senior Citizen Affairs. Those from Barangays Fort Bonifacio, Pinagsama, or Western Bicutan, may get their barangay business clearances from the satellite office.

On the other hand, the Bureau of Fire Protection will issue fire safety inspection certificates, while the Department of Trade and Industry will issue DTI and barangay micro business enterprise certificates.

The Taguig Satellite Office is open Mondays to Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

City officials are confident the reopening of the satellite office in the business district will facilitate the return to normalcy and encourage more constituents to secure their documents and permits.

Taguig had been awarded a Blue Certification Award by the Office of the Ombudsman for its streamlined frontline services and was recognized by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for having the highest rating in the Anti-Red Tape Act compliance measures among 46 first-class cities.

The city is currently host for top corporations, embassies and government offices. New hotels, educational institutions and shopping malls have also sprung up in recent years within the fast-growing business districts of BGC and ARCA South.
