Three Cabinet secretaries will discuss the infrastructure plans of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s administration in a forum organized by the Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines (EJAP) and the MVP Group of Companies.

“The Road Ahead: Priorities for the Next 6 Years” forum will be held today at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

EJAP is the country’s premier group of business journalists.

Information and Communications Technology Secretary Ivan John Uy, Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, and Energy Secretary Raphael Lotilla will grace the event that will discuss the government’s plans in the digital infrastructure, transportation sector, and energy sectors.

Ma. Cynthia Hernandez, Public-Private Partnership Center executive director, will also give her insights on the high impact and sustainable infrastructure projects where the government and the private sector can partner in the future.

“The lack of quality infrastructure has been one of the country’s development constraints. This is the reason we are looking forward to the infrastructure projects and plans of the current administration,” EJAP president Cai Ordinario of Business Mirror said.

Executives from the business sector will likewise give their reactions on the administration’s infrastructure plans.

“I hope that this forum would be able to give us a clearer picture of the new government’s infrastructure agenda,” Ordinario added.

Before Monday’s event, EJAP hosted a forum for the administration’s economic managers who discussed recovery strategies.
