Grab Philippines is offering free airport shuttle rides for the entire second half of June in support of the government’s free ridership program.
In a statement, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) welcomed Grab’s initiative to offer free airport shuttle rides for passengers from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals 2 and 3 to any point in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The free airport shuttle will start on June 15 until June 30, 2022, and will run from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The DOTr said Grab will deploy 100 units for the free airport shuttle program.
To avail of the free shuttle service, passengers must book at the Grab booths located at the arrival areas of NAIA Terminals 2 and 3.
Transportation Secretary Art Tugade thanked Grab for the project, saying the free shuttle services would boost the current Libreng Sakay Program of the DOTr and Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
Grab Philippines, likewise, thanked President Duterte and Tugade for launching the Libreng Sakay Program.
“We thank President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and the DOTr under the leadership of Secretary Art Tugade for launching the Libreng Sakay program, as well as other valuable projects that continue to benefit the Filipino commuters,” Grab said.
